SA-5 Semi-Automatic Case Packer
The ESS Technologies, Inc. Model SA-5 Semi Automatic Case Packer provides a cost-effective solution for automating the infeed, collation and case packing of a wide variety of products. PLC controls allow for ease of operation, and the machine is equipped with finger safe controls for operation of each cycle. Pre-erected cases are manually placed in the loading position. The case packer collates the product into the required pack pattern. When the pattern is complete, an LED on the controls alerts the operator who then manually activates the loading device and removes the loaded case. Optional glue or tape closure stations may be added to the machine frame to further automate the process. An optional starwheel assembly with frame, motor, drive and clutch may be ordered to facilitate loading and collation of round, cylindrical products.
