In 1998, CMC Magnetics Hong Kong began production of custom packages for AOL. CMC introduced several of AOL’s winning packages including a wood box, a paper magnet box and a tin box. The consistent introduction of new packages to AOL earned the team the position of AOL’s top vendor.
In early 2008, CMC spun off the packaging unit as a separate company called CMC Packaging Group.
